Now that’s a spreadsheet . . . .I could have used something like this last night when trying to figure a major mathematical cutting equation.
Family here was of no help!
I do have to ask: do you dye many yards of fabric at once in order to have fabrics on hand for your projects?
Hi Debbie – Yes, I dye lots of fabric! Here’s a picture of some of it:
But I have more…And, I’m always dyeing more…and more… I try to keep careful records, so that when i do want more of a particular color, I am usually able to come pretty close!

But I’ve got plenty of other posts on dyeing, over on the side of the blog is an index entitled “Things I’m rambling about” click on the dyeing and you’ll see other posts about dyeing too!
I usually dye fabric in 1/2 – 3 yard chunks…any bigger and they’re too tough to handle, and usually I’m about variety and texture, so I don’t often need more than 3′ at any one time!
